Noble Futures are excited to present an opportunity for a qualified large animal veterinarian to transfer into a non-clinical role. This role would be well-suited to an experienced large animal vet with a passion for livestock management to transfer into an advisory role. Offering an excellent base salary, this position within a market leading business will present an excellent opportunity for progression into a career as a veterinary advisor and beyond.
The focus of this role will be to partner with customers to educate and support on best practice. Covering a territory spanning the North/Northwest UK. You will be tasked with booking appointments and travelling to consult customers on a variety of issues, spanning herd health and farm management. Whilst this is NOT a sales role, the incoming candidate will require good communication abilities and the confidence to discuss commercial aspects with customers.
This role is a 12-month maternity cover contract. With opportunity to progress into other areas of this highly established and well respected business upon closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing relationships with farms across an area of the North/Northwest UK.
- Arranging and attending booked meetings with existing customers across this territory.
- Partner with the internal sales team to offer educational support to customers.
- Advise and educate on best practice across a range of issues relating to farm & livestock management.
- Help to partner with customers to drive value for their business in line with product usage.
Skills/Experience
- You must be a qualified large animal veterinary surgeon.
- Experienced in advising on farm/herd health.
- Confident communicator
- Experience in utilising farm management technology preferred.
