Are you a technically minded professional looking to join a fast-growing team in the agricultural sector? A leading machinery dealer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide high-level technical support and maintenance across the South East of Ireland.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will be the face of the company, ensuring that advanced automated systems operate at peak efficiency. You will work closely with customers to build trust and deliver a superior service experience.
- Technical Support: Execute high-quality maintenance and repairs on specialised agricultural systems.
- Customer Focus: Respond quickly to technical inquiries and provide effective solutions to on-farm issues.
- Independent Management: Take ownership of your daily schedule and prioritise tasks based on customer demand.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues to ensure seamless support for the regional client base.
- On-Call Support: Participate in a rotational schedule to provide essential assistance outside of standard hours.
Location
The role is ideally suited for candidates located in or near County Kilkenny, Wexford, or Waterford, with occasional travel to support surrounding regions.
About You:
- Technical Background: You hold a trade qualification, ideally in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
- Experience: You have a background in service engineering; while agricultural experience is a plus, it is not a requirement.
- Problem Solver: You are solution-oriented and take pride in a high standard of workmanship.
- Communication: You possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivation: You are a self-starter who can work independently while maintaining a strong team-player attitude.
