Imagine working within a group where a culture of warmth and belonging is observed. Where everyone has opportunities to grow and develop. Where you are not known as “staff” but are part of a wide team. Where wellbeing is of the utmost importance, and yet still maintains a strong social conscience.
VetPartners is a leading provider of multi-species Veterinary services across the UK and Europe, and our ethos is that everyone is part of the family.
To ensure we continue to provide quality support and training, we are looking for a Business Support Manager, to be based in Scotland, to join our Training and Development Team.
Providing support, development, and training to our teams across our group, we seek to recruit a Business Support Manager (BSM) who is capable and responsive to uphold our vision to be the Veterinary group of choice whilst demonstrating our values.
Working on defined projects from our Business Development Directors and Practice Management Teams, you will help, nurture, coach and develop individuals and teams alike. Both practice and people development are crucial to sustaining a healthy business environment, and so the role will not only involve business analysis but will facilitate effective team and individual support, training, and coaching.
The ideal candidate will show leadership qualities that are inspirational and motivational, to provide direction, guidance and encouragement and be skilled in collaborating, organising projects and communicating with stakeholders. A field-based role that involves travel to surrounding VetPartners practices, central support and other regional events that require confidence and inspiration with public speaking. In this case the role will be based in Scotland - where we've practices from Berwick, and Ayrshire to Aberdeenshire, with a concentration through the Central Belt, Glasgow and Edinburgh. A driving licence, valid for the UK, will be required for expensed trips to assigned practices.
Competitive applicants will have a built significant experience in the UK veterinary industry and be able to demonstrate experience of training, coaching and presenting. Unfortunately, in this case, we can't offer sponsorship to those without Right to Work in the UK.
We offer a competitive package to include:
- A 37.5hour working week
- Salary above £40000, dependent on experience
- CPD support
- Professional Memberships (where relevant)
- Salary Sacrifice facility available (for Pension, cycle to work and / or child care vouchers)
- Health Shield Plan
The role is offered on an 18 month Fixed-term basis
If you have the desired skills and would like to be part of this exciting team - we would love to hear from you...
(Please Apply Directly - No Agency Submissions)
