Mechanical & Electrical Field Service Technician (On-Farm)
Are you an engineer based in North Yorkshire looking to pivot into an industry at the forefront of sustainability and technology? Join a global leader in smart farming solutions as a Field Service Technician, where your skills can make a real-world impact on sustainable food production.
Location: Field Based - North Yorkshire and Lancashire
The Package:
- Base salary: up to £40,000
- Performance bonus: up to 8% annually

- 20 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 25 days with service)

The Role:
- Field based Servicing, installation and maintenance of high-tech farm equipment across Yorkshire.
- Complete PPMs to prevent breakdown
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Working with a small number of farms across the area where you can build long-term customer relationships
- Manage your schedule independently with support from an experienced team
- Support the sales team by assisting with customer enquiries
The successful candidate:
- Mechanical or electrical engineering background
- A relevant engineering qualification
- Strong fault-finding, problem-solving abilities, and a keen interest in new technology
- Self-motivated and confident working independently on working farm sites around farm animals
- An interest or background in Agriculture or Animal Welfare is advantageous
