Job Title: Veterinary Technical Manager
Location: UK & IE (Hybrid/Office Based)

We’re hiring on behalf of a global leader in companion animal nutrition for a Veterinary Affairs Manager to lead and develop a team of Professional Consulting Veterinarians (PCVs). This is a rare opportunity to combine your clinical expertise, commercial mindset, and leadership skills in a role that shapes veterinary engagement, education, and strategy on a national level.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a talented team of PCVs, coaching and guiding their impact in vet practices, universities, and corporate accounts
- Drive veterinary recommendation and brand loyalty through education, strategic partnerships, and expert support
- Champion key accounts by developing meaningful relationships with veterinary corporates and head office teams
- Oversee university engagement, student programmes, CPD events, and professional association partnerships
- Support and train the sales team, helping them deliver best-in-class nutritional education to clinics
- Manage the technical helpline and provide expertise for sensitive or complex cases
Requirements:
- DVM (or equivalent) with 4+ years in small animal practice
- Commercial experience (or strong interest in transitioning into industry)
- Natural leader with coaching skills and a collaborative mindset
- Strong communicator, confident in both clinical and business discussions
- Knowledge of pet nutrition or previous industry experience is a plus
- Comfortable working nationally with regular travel
