A small animal practice in Worcestershire is seeking an experienced Locum Nurse to join their team, with cover required up to the start of January.
Working alongside 2.5 Vets and a Lead RVN for support, this role involves both operating and nurse consulting. Full-time cover of 40 hours per week across 5 days is ideal, but the practice is also very open to odd days cover (especially during September and October). For candidates interested in a permanent position, this locum placement can also serve as a trial run.
📋 Position Details:
- Hours: Ideally 40 hours per week over 5 days (Mon–Fri shifts: 08:30–17:00 and 10:30–19:00). Odd days cover also welcomed.
- Saturdays: 09:00–13:00 shifts available.
- Duration: Dates available up to the start of January (trial run for permanent roles available).
- Team & Practice: 100% small animal surgery, working alongside 2.5 Vets and a Lead RVN.
- Perks & Engagement: Free on-site parking available. Open to zero-hours or umbrella candidates.
👤 Candidate Requirements:
- Experienced Qualified RVN with active RCVS registration.
- Confident with both surgical/operating duties and nurse consulting.
