We are currently recruiting for a Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly small animal practice in Worcestershire on an ongoing basis with an immediate start available.
This opportunity offers flexible cover requirements, with the practice ideally seeking a nurse for 40 hours per week across 5 days. However, applications from nurses available for fewer days are also welcomed, particularly throughout September and October.
The role would suit an experienced RVN who is confident in both theatre and nurse consultations, and who enjoys working within a supportive clinical environment.
Key features of the role:
- Ongoing locum position

- Confident consulting and theatre skills required
- Working alongside an experienced Lead RVN
- Potential pathway into a permanent position
Shift patterns include:
- 8:30am–5:00pm
- 10:30am–7:00pm
Additional cover required:
- Saturday mornings
- 9:00am–1:00pm
The practice is a well-established small animal surgery with a supportive team and a varied caseload, providing an excellent working environment for an experienced RVN.
Additional details:
- Free onsite parking
- Ongoing requirement through to the start of January
- Zero-hours contract or umbrella company arrangements accepted
