We are seeking an experienced and confident locum veterinary surgeon to join a well-established independent small animal practice in Berkshire from 12th January, ideally on a long-term basis while a permanent replacement is found.
This is a 4 or 5 day per week role, with participation in a 1 in 5 weekend rota. Following a weekend on duty, Monday and Friday off can be arranged to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
There are no out-of-hours responsibilities, as cases are transferred to Vets Now from 9pm on weekdays and 5pm at weekends.
The ideal candidate will be a competent all-rounder, confident in both medicine and surgery. A full driving licence is required, as the role involves consulting at local branch surgeries – however, a practice vehicle can be provided. Accommodation is also available if needed.
This practice offers excellent facilities and a supportive, friendly team environment. As an independent practice, they are happy to accept all payroll methods.
