We are recruiting for a welcoming small animal practice in Cardiff, who are looking for a confident Locum Vet to join the team across multiple dates this September and October.
We’re ideally looking for one locum who can cover most, if not all, of the below shifts 🙌
🗓️ Shifts Available:
September
Wed 3rd – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Fri 5th – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Wed 10th – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Fri 12th – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Mon 15th – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Sat 20th – 9am–5:30pm (SOLE CHARGE)
Wed 24th – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Fri 26th – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Sat 27th – 9am–5:30pm (SOLE CHARGE)
October
Wed 3rd – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Mon 6th – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Tue 7th – 9am–6pm (SOLE CHARGE)
Wed 8th – 9am–6pm (SOLE CHARGE)
Thu 9th – 9am–6pm (SOLE CHARGE)
Fri 10th – 9am–6pm (with new grad)
Sat 11th – 9am–5:30pm (SOLE CHARGE)
👩⚕️ About You:
✅ Confident working sole charge on relevant days
✅ Comfortable with consults and routine ops
✅ Supportive and collaborative – you'll be working alongside a new grad vet on team days
✅ Reliable, friendly, and great with clients
🩺 They are a well-equipped, no-frills, genuinely supportive practice. Nurses available on all shifts.
🚫 No OOH or on-call.
💷 Competitive daily rate
📆 Preference given to vets who can cover the majority or all shifts
