The RSPCA in Shropshire are looking for a locum Vet to attend one of the local kennels they use to board cats and dogs. The role would be for a couple of hours (potentially longer) every 2 weeks, preferably on the same day.
The role would include anything from routine health checks, vaccinations, parasite treatment, microchipping, lameness, ear, eye and skin issues to neutering, x-rays, swabs, bloods, euthanasias etc.
They currently have lots of the animals on site requiring vaccinations, health checks and medication reviews. The animals move on regularly to branches and centres and are replaced by new intake so there is always animals to keep you busy.
