A Small Animal practice in Dorset is looking for a Locum Vet to provide sole charge cover during the following periods:
Wednesday 27th December - Friday 29th December
Tuesday 2nd January - Friday 12th January
(Happy to consider 3/4 days per week if preferred)
Normal work hours Monday to Friday are 8.30am - 6.30pm and Saturday 9am - 12pm. Normal days are arranged 9am - 11pm consulting, then any surgical procedures. Long decent lunch breaks are the norm.
Consulting starts again from 4pm - 6pm. Happy to do 10 or 20 mins appts, whatever is preferred. Saturdays consulting only 9am - 12pm. No OOH or on-call.
Team consists of a Practice Manager, a Receptionist, two highly experienced RVN's and a highly competent ANA (soon to be SVN) and a Saturday ANA/Receptionist.
The practice has lots of room, usual toys and equipment and a relaxed and happy atmosphere, with really lovely receptive clients.
A modern self-contained one bed flat (with a garden) can be provided above the practice if needed.
