We are looking for a Locum Vet to join an independently owned companion animal practice near Chelmsford, Essex.
This is a fully equipped practice with a varied caseload, primarily dogs and cats, with rabbits and the occasional exotic pet.
You will join a wonderful team of vets, RVNs, trainee nurses, VCAs, receptionists and admin staff.
The Role
- Locum Vet Surgeon - full or part-time position
- Start date- as soon as possible
- Duration - ongoing
- 15-minute appointments
- Weekend work - 2 weekends in every 8 weeks, with days off in lieu
- 1 evening check per week (only if required)
- Well-organised weekly rota that is available 2 months in advance
- No OOHs

We are looking for a good all-round GP Veterinary surgeon, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries.
