Locum Veterinary Surgeon Needed Near Worsley🐾
A small animal, independent practice near Tyldesley is seeking a locum vet for an ongoing position, starting November 1st. There is a possibility that cover may be needed before this date as well.
This role is for a vet who is confident with both consultations and surgical procedures, as it is not a consult-only position. The ideal candidate will be a multi-tasker who can also handle occasional sole charge days.
The schedule is as follows:
Weekdays: 3-4 days a week, from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. The days are flexible, with the possibility of having Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays off, but every Tuesday and Thursday would be required.
Saturdays: A 1 in 2 Saturday morning rotation from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
The practice is a growing clinic with a varied caseload. They are offering to pay around £450 for weekdays and no more than £250 for Saturday shifts. A one-hour unpaid lunch break is included in the full-day shifts.
