JR is currently seeking a locum Vet Surgeon to support a well-established practice with ongoing daytime cover. This placement is scheduled to begin from mid-August 2026 and offers long-term consistency for the right candidate.
The position features a balanced workload encompassing a mix of surgeries and consultations. You will be joining a supportive clinical team, working in a professional environment equipped to handle a diverse caseload.
📅 Rota & Shift Patterns:
- Weekdays: 4 weekdays per week (9.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break)
- Weekends: 1:4 standard weekend rota (plus additional weekend cover shifts available from 9:00am – 3:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday)
- Duration: Ongoing from mid-August 2026
💰 Financial Package:
- Daily Rate: Up to £500 per day cap
- Accommodation: No on-site accommodation provided (an allowance may be considered for the right candidate)
