Are you an experienced Small Animal Orthopaedic Vet looking for an exciting international consultancy opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established referral-focused veterinary hospital in Bahrain seeking a Visiting Orthopaedic Specialist to undertake regular surgical blocks throughout the year.
This is a unique opportunity to help develop and expand an orthopaedic service within a growing referral environment, while enjoying fully funded travel and accommodation and highly competitive day rates.
The Role
🦴 Visiting Orthopaedic Consultant position undertaking scheduled 3-4 day surgical blocks
✈️ Recurring visits initially every 2-3 months, with scope to increase frequency as caseload grows
💷 Day rates anticipated between £800-£1,000 per day, dependent on experience and procedure mix
🔧 Orthopaedic caseload including TPLOs, complex fracture repairs, cruciate surgery and advanced small animal orthopaedics
📋 Involvement in consultation, surgical planning and case management
🏨 Flights, accommodation and travel expenses fully covered
🌍 Excellent opportunity for vets seeking part-time international consultancy work alongside existing commitments
