We are seeking an experienced locum Vet to join a reputable small animal hospital in Sweden, to start in either December or January and to run for a duration of 3-6 months whilst they recruit!

- Role: Locum / Permanent Vet Surgeon
- Location: Sweden
- Start: 1st December onwards for 3–6 months (flexible to January start)
- Hours / Shifts: 40hrs/week over 5 days; mix of 7:30am–4:30pm, 8am–5pm, 4pm–12am; evening shifts include on-call 12am–7:30am
- Weekend / Christmas cover: 1:6 Saturdays sole charge; practice closed Sundays; Christmas cover required if working in December
- Site / Team: 7 vets + 30–35 nurses, high nurse-to-vet ratio; international team, locums fully included in meetings and socials
- Caseload / Responsibilities: Routine surgeries with ECC cases (C-sections, GDV, pyometra, foreign bodies); 30min consults; locum must be self-sufficient
- Transport / Culture: Practice transport provided; supportive, inclusive environment treating locums same as permanent staff
