VetPro Recruitment have an Urgent Requirement for a Locum Senior Veterinary Inspector to work for APHA in Scotland, based in either Hamilton or Galashiels. The role is to commence on the 19/01/2026 – 03/07/2026. The role is full time, predominantly Monday– Friday, 8.30am – 5pm but there is a possibility of some weekends and out of hours if there is some outbreak to deal with. Applicants will have to have Official Controls Qualification (Veterinary) – Essential Skills on application, OCQ(V)-TT and OCQ(V)-SS are desirable but not essential. Must have some large animal experience. Applicants must either live locally or be happy to arrange own accommodation as this will not be provided or subsidised. Drivers license and own suitable transport which is big enough to take the relevant kit is essential.
