Locum Vet - Independent Practice, South Staffordshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a long-established independent practice in South Staffordshire. This family-owned practice has built a loyal client base over more than 25 years and is now seeking ongoing support following the retirement of its Senior Vet. The team is ideally looking for a long-term locum who can provide stability and continuity while future plans for the practice are assessed.
The Role
π ASAP start with ongoing commitment preferred
π Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
π Typically 9:00am to 6:00/6:30pm, with regular 10:00am starts available
πΎ Approximately 90% small animal work, with minimal equine involvement that can potentially be removed to create a 100% small animal caseload
π Around 1:4 Saturday mornings (10:00am to 1:00pm)
π€ 100% sole charge position
π« No on-call or out-of-hours requirements
π©Ί Mix of consultations and surgical procedures
βοΈ Essential surgical skills include bitch spays, canine castrations, dentals and lump removals
π₯ Consults-only applicants unfortunately cannot be accommodated
