We are working with a friendly small animal practice in Surrey that is seeking a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide interim cover from 16th February. They are keen to secure someone quickly, with strong potential for the role to continue while a permanent appointment is made.
This is a varied locum position offering a good balance of consulting and surgery, within a supportive and well-run practice environment.
The role
The practice is ideally looking for cover 4–5 days per week, initially for 2 weeks from 16th February, however this is very likely to extend for up to 3 months. Shift patterns are flexible and typically include a mix of early and late shifts, either 8am–4pm or 10am–8pm. For a full 5-day week, this usually consists of three early 8-hour shifts and two 10-hour late shifts.
The caseload includes both consults and routine surgery, making this a well-rounded role for an experienced small animal vet. Occasional weekend cover (9am–4pm) would be a big bonus, though not essential.
Accommodation is not provided. Umbrella company locums only.
