Locum Vet Surgeon – East Sussex
A friendly small animal practice in East Sussex is seeking a Locum Vet Surgeon to provide cover from 10th November to 5th December — a great short-term role with flexibility and a supportive team!
🩺 Role details:
📍 Locum Vet Surgeon – East Sussex
📆 Dates: 10th November – 5th December (4 weeks)
📅 Days: 2–4 days per week (flexible)
⏰ Hours: Between 8:30am – 7:00pm (8–10 hour shifts)
☕ Breaks: 1-hour lunch + regular catch-up breaks
🗓️ Weekend: One weekend within the block – Saturday 8:30am–4:30pm & Sunday 10am–4pm
💼 Team: 5 Vets (no sole charge) – including multiple certificate holders & an excellent support team
💬 Workload: Consults & ops ideally, but consults-only also considered
🐾 Consult length: 15 minutes
🌙 No on-call or OOH

💷 Rates: Dependent on experience & flexibility
