An established practice located south of the River Tyne is seeking dedicated Locum Veterinary Surgeons to assist with full cover throughout the month of August 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to lock in a consistent, full-time block of summer work.
⏱️ Shift Details
- Hours: 09:00 – 19:00
- Schedule: Full-time hours preferred (4 to 5 days per week).
- Peak Cover: The client is looking for full cover for all of August, with an extra need for a second vet to join the team during the week commencing 10th August.
- Accommodation: Please note that on-site accommodation is not available for this role.
🌍 Locations
Shifts will be shared across a close-knit group of community branches south of the Tyne, including locations across the Sunderland, County Durham, and Houghton areas.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Confident managing a general first-opinion caseload including consultations and routine surgeries.
