A non-profit veterinary practice is seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon with a minimum of two years’ experience, confident in both surgical procedures and consultations.
- Starting ASAP until they recruit permanently
- Shifts are Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.
- Hours are 8am-6pm, with 1hr Lunch break.
- Please note: accommodation is not currently available.
The majority of the surgical caseload consists of neuters and dentals, with occasional other routine procedures.
The practice primarily treats dogs, cats, and rabbits, and prides itself on providing compassionate, community-focused care.
They currently require cover on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, on an ongoing basis until a new permanent vet is appointed. Opening hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and an ideal shift would align as closely as possible to these hours. Vets are provided with a one-hour lunch break and 1.5–2 hours of dedicated admin time per day.
