As a Locum Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering excellent veterinary care in a dynamic and welcoming practice. You will handle a mix of operations and consultations, with opportunities to work both collaboratively with the team and independently during sole charge shifts.
Employment Type: Locum (January 2025 Ongoing)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine surgeries and medical procedures.
- Carry out consultations, diagnosing and treating a range of conditions.
- Work independently during sole charge shifts (two afternoons a week).
- Maintain clear and detailed patient records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide advice on pet health and well-being.
Working Hours:
- 4 days a week.
- Shifts: 9am - 6:30pm.
- No out-of-hours (OOH), no Sundays, and no bank holidays.
Requirements:
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Experience in handling both consultations and surgeries.
- Confidence in working independently during sole charge shifts.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
