Our client is seeking a Practice Manager to join their amazing team. There are currently 2 clinics in Devon within 45 minutes driving distance of each other and both these well-equipped practices offer a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities and equipment including Cardiac ultrasound, Dental x-rays, a K-laser, an aseptic theatre and prep room, endoscopes, and a full in-house lab for bloods, biochemistry, and urine as well as spacious waiting rooms, consult rooms, separate dog kennels, cattery, and exotic ward, catering to a variety of exotic cases including birds, primates, reptiles, and snakes. These friendly clinics have a supportive team of Vets, RVNs, SVNs, and Patient Care Assistants. Situated in a great location just 5 minutes from the M5 and A30, providing easy access to all of Devon, Cornwall, Bristol, beaches, moors, and more!
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Deliver exceptional client care, monitor client feedback, and follow up on actions to improve the practice.
- Manage the planning and execution of practice rotas to ensure optimum service levels, maximizing utilization of clinical skills.
- Set the team up for success through effective recruitment, induction, ongoing communication, and management.
- Promote the practice externally through local community events.
- Acquired Knowledge and understanding of practice environments, ideally gained in a Veterinary, GP, or Dental practice setting.
- Experience in driving strong commercial performance through effective financial management, marketing activity, and efficient ways of working.
- Proficiency with computer systems, experience using Microsoft Office.
- Good numeracy and analytical skills.
- Experience in managing and leading a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours a week over 5 days from 9am – 5pm.
