My client is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager for a brand new independent veterinary clinic. They are looking for an individual with strong organizational and leadership skills who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of care and service. 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic to ensure efficiency.
- Manage appointment scheduling, staff rotas, and clinic events.
- Ensure a high level of client service and maintain strong relationships with pet owners.

Human Resources Management:
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training for all staff.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and support staff development.
- Oversee employee relations, conduct performance reviews, and resolve conflicts.

Financial Management:
- Monitor clinic expenses and revenues to ensure financial stability.
- Collaborate with external accountants and financial advisors as needed.

Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure the clinic adheres to cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to protect staff, clients, and animals.
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Marketing and Community Outreach:
- Implement marketing strategies to promote services and increase client engagement.
- Oversee social media accounts and create content to attract new clients.

Problem-Solving:
- Address operational challenges and develop solutions to keep the clinic running smoothly.
- Manage unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.

Desired Qualifications and Attributes:
- Experience in Animal Care
- Proven leadership experience, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, payroll, and financial management.
- HR Experience: Background in human resources management.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Standards: Familiarity with relevant regulations.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with veterinary software and digital tools.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle unexpected situations and challenges.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering competitive compensation and benefits!
- Salary: Starting at £35k, dependent on experience
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturdays and potentially 1 in 9 Sundays at another site. No remote work options are available.

Candidates MUST be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and have the relevant visas, if required.
