We are currently seeking a full time Clinic Supervisor on behalf of the RSPCA in West London.
Working hours – 9am – 5.30pm
Salary - £27,500
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about animal care, with previous experience in an administrative/supervisory role. Previous veterinary/animal care experience would be preferential but not decisive.
About the practice;
Each year the Branch helps circa. 12,000 animals in need in the area by:
- providing veterinary care for the pets of clients who meet the Branch eligibility criteria
- finding new and loving homes for abandoned and abused animals
- promoting responsible pet ownership through various welfare schemes
The Branch provides its services at it's west London clinic and a rehoming facility at Denham with kennels, a cattery and provision for rabbits and small animals. It supports the work of the RSPCA Inspectorate. To support the funding of these services, the Branch runs 3 charity shops
Job Purpose:
To promote kindness and a caring attitude to all animals in the care of the RSPCA in all circumstances. Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of clinic activity, ensuring very high levels of client and patient care; efficient and effective management of all reception functions (staff and volunteers); manage the effective use of stock and resources.
Reports To: The Clinic Practice Manager
Main Duties:
- Day to day supervision of reception staff and volunteers
- Supporting the clinical staff (Vets and Nurses)
- Reception work
- Rota planning
- Supporting the animal rehoming facility
