We are currently on the hunt for an ambitious individual to join a team as Veterinary Practice manager.
We are looking for ideally someone from within the industry who could either be a current Practice Manager, a Head Nurse looking to move to non-clinical or a Head Receptionist looking to take the next step. This is not essential it's hugely beneficial. Similar background experience in leading a team would be advantageous.
The business model is designed to ensure an exceptional experience for the clinical team and the clients/patients who walk through the door.
Hours:
This is a full-time role over 5 days with occasional weekend support required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning for both staff and clients.
- You will manage scheduling, budgeting, and a team of veterinary professionals.
- Foster a positive, compassionate work environment, building client relationships and maintaining high standards of care.
- Maintain strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for animal welfare is essential. Help the team create a thriving, welcoming space for both pets and people.
Key breakdown:
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance.
- Handle client communications and ensure excellent service.
- Budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership/management and communication skills
- A big, warming, enthusiastic personality
- Relevant transferable skillset
- Passion for animal care
