We are delighted to be supporting our client in the search for an experienced and proactive Practice Manager to lead a thriving small animal veterinary clinic in West Sussex.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership and operational skills to step into a pivotal role, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the practice while supporting a dedicated team.
The Role:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the highest levels of client, patient, and colleague care.
- Manage and support the practice team, promoting engagement, development, and wellbeing.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, operational, and health & safety standards.
- Drive the commercial performance of the clinic, working with clinical teams to ensure effective use of resources.
- Take responsibility for rota management, recruitment, and people development.
- Represent the practice positively in the local community.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Minimum 2 years’ experience in operations and people management (veterinary, healthcare, GP, or dental setting desirable).
✔ Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
✔ Ability to balance client care, team wellbeing, compliance, and commercial performance.
✔ Confidence in coaching, mentoring, and influencing others.
✔ IT proficiency, with good numeracy and analytical skills.

You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive veterinary team who are passionate about delivering exceptional care in a well-equipped practice. The clinic is modern, spacious, and serves a loyal local client base.
