Our client – a small animal practice in West London – is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting clients, helping them check in and register their pets and liaise with other veterinarians and clinics.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is interested in becoming part of a close-knit team that focuses on the well-being of animals.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls and screen clients when necessary
- Schedule appointments for clients with the veterinarians
- Welcoming clients, scheduling appointments, and providing information about the practice to potential new clients
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures of patients
- Receive phone calls from clients and veterinarians; refer veterinarians to other veterinarians for treatment of common conditions; keep track of pending referrals and current appointments for veterinarians; receive, record, and forward messages for veterinarians
- Answer questions about pet health, care and medical treatment
- Enter medical information into computer; file medical records; check records for accuracy
- Answer questions about pet care, services and fees
- Provide all service with a friendly attitude
