Janko at JR is recruiting on behalf of our client - a small animal veterinary practice in South London - for an experienced Head/Senior Veterinary Receptionist to take on more responsibility and lead the team. This position is a great opportunity for someone wanting to progress within management.
Ideally the successful candidate will come from a senior position with a strong background in the Veterinary Industry, including Veterinary Reception experience. Experience leading a team is essential.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with 1:5 Saturdays. Hours are flexible, and all shifts between 7am-11pm can be considered.
Duties will include:
- Veterinary diaries
- Diary plotting
- Making appointments
- Interviewing for reception team members
- HR – supported by our HR Manager and external HR Partner
- Team building and team meetings
- Giving feedback individually and as a team
- Encouraging positive client reviews online
- Reviewing team members progression
- Diary control and accountability
- Debt management
- Insurance processing
- Zero percent finance management
- Reception cover rota 6 months in advance
- Monitoring of service and KPI’s / NPS
