EICKEMEYER is an independent, family-owned veterinary equipment company providing a full range of quality veterinary instrumentation and equipment.
We are looking for an experienced sales administrator with exceptional customer service skills to join a small team at our busy UK sales office in Sunbury-on-Thames.
Main Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- First point of contact for incoming calls from veterinary practices
- Dealing with queries and ensuring they are resolved
- Processing sales orders and producing customer invoices
- Supporting the Sales Team with queries and orders
- Monitor info@ email account
- Arrange sales shipments using approved freight companies
- Assist with technical product queries and repair coordination
- Working with internal departments and colleagues to ensure customers receive excellent service
Sales Administration
- Ensuring sales orders are completed and tracked end to end
- Update and maintain records in the customer sales database/CRM
- Production of monthly expense reports and sales figures for the Sales Team
- Assist Operations Manager with various administrational tasks
- Support Sales & Logistics Co-ordinator with all sales related activities as and when required
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Excellent telephone manner and call handling
- Understanding of CRM and customer databases - ODOO Experience is very desirable
- A practical thinker with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Team player with the ability to work on their own initiative, including a good sense of humour
- Time management skills with the ability to focus, organise and prioritise workload
- Ability to problem solve with a common sense approach is a must
- A very good memory and ability to assimilate what can sometimes be technical information e.g. medical devices and equipment
- Stay calm under pressure and respond to the changing demands of the business
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrational role
- Knowledge of sales processes and ERP systems
- Punctual and reliable
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Competent computer skills, in particular with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
Desirable
- Experience using ODOO ERP system
- Knowledge of logistics
- Experience in or keen interest in the veterinary industry
The role consists of a 40 hour week from 09:00 - 5:30 Monday - Friday. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
