My client is looking for a veterinary care assistant for their practice in the Plymouth area.
The ideal candidate must have worked in practice as a VCA or receptionist before. This is a part-time position, working 19 hours a week for 3 months.
Duties will include:
- Assisting nurses and vets in providing medical care to animals
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing
- Clean and sanitize examination rooms, equipment and kennels
- Answering phones and serving customers at the reception desk
Benefits
- Salary £22k + (pro-rata)
- 3 months fixed term position
- 19 hours a week, Friday cover included
- No OOH
- Pension
