Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their warm and friendly team. This position is initially offered as maternity cover for 6 months, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
You will be working under the guidance of a veterinary surgeon with over 15 years experience and fosters a welcoming and supportive atmosphere as well as alongside 3 Vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 VCAs, and 4 Receptionists providing exceptional veterinary services.
This practice is conveniently located with easy access to the town center and retail park. This is a purpose-built surgery equipped with modern tools including a digital x-ray dental machine and a fully equipped operating theatre.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality nursing care to a variety of small animal cases, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Engage with clients, providing clear communication and support to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
- Embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, including assisting in surgeries, administering treatments, and monitoring anesthesia.
- Contribute to a positive work environment, showing a can-do attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time (Maternity cover) role, initially for 6 months with the possibility of becoming permanent. This role is 40 hours a week with 1:6 weekends.
