Our client is excited to welcome a new member to their team! Currently consisting of five experienced veterinarians and backed by a dedicated team including two Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), two Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs), one Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA), and six Client Care Advisors.
About Us:

The team includes surgery certificate holders and veterinarians working towards various certificates, including exotics. With state-of-the-art facilities such as laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, dental x-ray, doppler BP monitoring, capnography, pulse oximetry, and k-laser, our client ensures a high standard of care across a wide range of cases and species. From orthopedic to soft tissue surgeries, including TPLOs and BOAS surgeries, to exotic animal care, the team handle it all.
Your Role:
As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week with no on-call duties. Saturdays are rotated on a 1 in 4 basis (8:45 am - 6:15 pm), with flexibility considered. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with both clinical and non-clinical teams to provide exceptional patient and customer care.
- Mentoring and empowering the nursing team to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities by liaising with team members.
- Acting as the first-line manager for the nursing team.
- Professionally managing bookings and client interactions using RX Works.
- Administering medications and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures.
- Operating radiography equipment and recording results.
Person Specification:
Our client are looking for candidates with veterinary nursing experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer service. The ideal candidate is a team player who can demonstrate initiative. While experience with their diverse case load is beneficial, our client welcomes fast learners eager to immerse themselves in all aspects of the role. They also support ongoing skill development and encourage interest in Clinical Coaching/Supervising. An interest in mentoring and supporting student nurses is advantageous, with training provided if desired.
