As Head RVN, you will be reporting directly to the experienced Practice Manager, with line management responsibility for 3 RVNs, 1 student nurse, and 2 VCAs. Your leadership will guide and support the nursing team, foster continuous quality improvement, and maximize practice efficiency while ensuring clinical excellence.
This modern GP practice is setup to fully utilize nurse skills including blood sampling, catheter placement, x-rays, monitoring anaesthesia, dental scale & polish, and nurse clinics as well as being a ISFM Silver Cat-Friendly Clinic with a RAW Silver Rabbit Friendly award it is also an approved Veterinary Nurse Training Practice.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 35 or 40 hours a week with 1:5 weekends and No OOH, On-Calls, or Backup Rota’s! This role ensures your time off is your time off and provides a great work-life balance.
