The Role:
Our client is looking for an RVN to join their friendly team.
The practice has all the equipment you’d expect from the market leader in small animal veterinary care including a laser therapy system, digital radiography, ultrasound, laser machine, blood machines, BP monitors, ECG machine, capnogram, a surgical suite, a dental suite, and kennelling facilities.
They are a friendly, dynamic, highly motivated, and ambitious team of 18. They are made up of 5 vets, with a range of experience from 25+ years and 2 new graduates, 2 RVNs, 1 nearly qualified nurse, 3 veterinary nursing assistants, 6 receptionists (including a client care advisor and head receptionist) and a practice manager.
The cases are 100% small animals, with 10-15% exotics and 40-50% of our clients are insured.
This role offered is 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends. No OOH or sole charge will be required.
To apply you must enjoy nursing, and should be competent in monitoring anaesthesia in all surgical procedures. You must have a good work ethic, be punctual, and reliable, have good organisational skills, be computer literate, have good people skills, excellent phone manners and good communication skills are also essential as you will be mixing both internally with our team and externally with our clients and other professionals.
