An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join a brand-new practice opening in Buckinghamshire.
The practice is dedicated to redesigning the veterinary experience through beautifully designed clinics and in-house purpose-built technology, combining modern elegance with first-class pet care. 📋 Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high standards of clinical nursing care and implementing clinical practice protocols.
- Conducting screening procedures, including auscultation and sample procurement.
- General anaesthetic monitoring, accurate record keeping, and recording comprehensive clinical notes.
- Administering treatments, assisting veterinarians during invasive and non-invasive procedures, and tending to unsettled animals.
- Participating in the nurse consultation rota and supporting pet owners with routine and specialised care advice.
- Disinfecting surgical areas, maintaining high standards of clinical workspace hygiene, and adhering to surgical etiquette and quarantining procedures.
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
💰 Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: From £30,000 per annum (highly competitive, depending on experience).
- Holiday: 200 hours annual leave, plus your birthday off after 1 year of service.

👤 Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with a Veterinary Nursing Degree (or equivalent) and active RCVS registration.
- Demonstrable experience as a veterinary nurse, including general anaesthetic monitoring and nurse consulting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical etiquette, quarantining procedures, and clinical practice protocols.
- Experience with practice management software systems.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
