Join a well-established, independent small animal practice in Buckinghamshire with multiple sites, offering a varied and rewarding Registered Veterinary Nurse role across a hospital and branch setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large, highly skilled team where support, development, and work-life balance are genuinely prioritised.
The Role
- 4-day working week
- Shifts between 8:00am – 7:00pm
- Split between hospital and branch (rota dependent)
- Varied caseload including:
- Nurse consultations
- Surgical nursing
- Inpatient care
- Opportunity to work alongside certificate holders in orthopaedics and cardiology
- Large, supportive team environment (20+ vets, RVNs, and support staff)
Out of Hours (OOH)
- Approximately 1 night per week
- On-site accommodation available for overnight stays
- Ability to rest/sleep if not busy
- Paid additionally for:
- OOH shift
- Each inpatient check
Salary & Benefits
- £28,000 for newly qualified RVNs
- Up to £33,000 for more experienced nurses
- Overtime and OOH paid on top (realistic earnings into high £30Ks–£40Ks)
- 5 weeks annual leave
- Flexible rota options available (including part-time or reduced OOH for experienced nurses)
