An enthusiastic and adaptable Registered Veterinary Nurse is required to join a supportive nursing team within a prominent veterinary group in Cheshire and Greater Manchester. Primarily based at a busy multi-disciplinary referral hospital and A&E service, with opportunities to support surrounding first-opinion practices, this role offers exceptional clinical variety in a structured learning environment.
Role & Schedule Details:
- Position: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Permanent, Full-Time)
- Working Pattern: Flexible 4 or 5-day working week considered
- Weekend Rota: 1 in 6 weekends (mostly daytime shifts; occasional later shifts)
- Time Off in Lieu: Days off in lieu provided for weekend and bank holiday shifts
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Theatre and anaesthesia duties
- Inpatient, ward, and general patient care
- Emergency and critical care (ECC)
- Diagnostic procedures
- Medical and surgical nursing
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered).
- Proactive, organised, and committed to high standards of patient care.
- Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and mentor others (including student nurses).
