RVN role – Cheshire
My client is in search of a Registered Veterinary Nurse to become a valued member of their team! In this role, your daily responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, such as assisting in surgical procedures, including those involving exotic and laparoscopy cases, dental procedures, and various diagnostic procedures like X-Rays, ultrasound, and Endoscopy. You'll also play a vital role in in-patient care, administering medication, monitoring patients, and ensuring they get the exercise they need. Additionally, you'll handle nurse appointments, which include tasks like administering second vaccinations, conducting post-operative checks, administering repeat injections, and managing dressings. They also run weight clinics, wellness screens, puppy and kitten clinics, adding to the variety of experiences you'll encounter.
This position is well-suited for both newly qualified nurses looking to enhance their skills within a supportive team and experienced nurses seeking a change of environment and a fresh challenge. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across various areas within the clinical team, allowing you to focus on your preferred interests. They also actively encourage schedule 3 procedures, promoting professional growth and development.
Nurses work either a four or five days per week based on your preference and what fits your lifestyle better. The practice is open on a Saturday morning 8.30-1pm and their rota is currently one in five.
