JR Veterinary are delighted to be recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a growing independent small animal practice in East Devon. This role is initially to cover maternity leave but could become a permanent position as the practice continues to expand.
The Role:
- Flexible contract – maternity cover from December or permanent from the outset
- Part-time or full-time considered (ideally Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays)
- Mix of consulting, inpatient care, theatre nursing, and lab work
- 1:4 Saturday mornings (currently averaging closer to 1:6)
- No out-of-hours requirements
About the Practice:
This is a modern, independent practice with two fully equipped sites and a supportive, close-knit team including six vets and six RVNs. The practice is RCVS accredited and fully kitted out with excellent equipment including digital X-ray, colour Doppler ultrasound, dedicated theatres, multiparameter monitors, tonometry, and even laparoscopic spays.
About You:
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
- Confident across a variety of nursing duties
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care and being part of a friendly, collaborative team
- Keen to continue developing skills – CPD fully encouraged and funded
