We are looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join the busy, supportive practice in Bournemouth.
Hours:
This is a full-time 12-month Fixed Term Contract working 40 hours per week over a 4 or 5 days with Saturday mornings on rota however no OOH's.
Role:
In this role, you’ll be supporting the nursing team and mentoring less experienced team members, Nurse rota and cover management, as well as working within the team on the nursing rota (admin / float time allocated).
Practice:
The practice boast excellent facilities and an experienced team. It sees a mixture of day procedures, ops and medical work ups as well as inpatients who remain with them for the duration of their treatment.
Team:
The practice has a friendly and enthusiastic nursing team consists of 12 RVN’s, 3 SVN’s, 3 ACAs and 6 receptionists as well as on site administrators and Practice Manager. You will typically working alongside 4-5 Vets a day.
Package:
Competitive salary from £34,000 depending on experience
6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
£600.00 CPD Allowance per annum
RCVS Membership paid plus one other membership subscription
