JR is seeking a Registered Veterinary nurse for an excellent opportunity to join our client’s friendly and experienced team in a recently refurbished hospital just a short drive from the stunning Jurassic Coast.
This role would ideally suit a nurse who thrives in a busy, high-standard hospital environment and enjoys working as part of a diverse and talented clinical team where you will be part of a 24-hour, multi-disciplinary hospital that serves as an emergency and referral hub for five practices and seven external clinics.
You will be working alongside certificate holders in diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, dermatology, ECC, and surgical disciplines, with more colleagues currently undertaking additional qualifications.
Facilities Include:
- CT scanner (internal & referral cases)
- Digital x-ray, ultrasound & endoscopy
- Two sterile surgical suites
- In-house lab and dedicated isolation unit
- Hydrotherapy and physiotherapy services
- Separate cat and dog wards (ISFM Silver Cat Friendly)
This team are preferably looking for an enthusiastic, RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in small animal practice and confidence in a fast-paced hospital environment with a team-focused attitude and the ability to work independently as well as a commitment to exceptional patient and client care.
This is permanent full time role working 40 hours a week across a rotating shift pattern of early and late shifts, with weekend work on a rota to ensure hospital coverage.
