An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive, friendly team at a busy small animal practice in East Yorkshire. This role is ideal for a dynamic, proactive nurse looking to gain confidence, develop their skills, and work in a fun, inclusive environment.
Role & Schedule Details:
- Position: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Permanent)
- Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (mix of early and late shifts)
- Weekend Rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays
- Out of Hours (OOH): No OOH or overnight inpatient checks
- Salary: Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Clinical Duties & Practice Highlights:
- Purpose-built practice built to industry-leading standards with state-of-the-art equipment, including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.
- Varied caseload covering nurse consults, inpatient care, theatre work, admitting, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients.
- Opportunities for nurses to perform Schedule 3 procedures.
- Full support from Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs) and a Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN) with theatre turnaround and patient preparation.
