An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established small animal practice in Essex as a Head Veterinary Nurse.
This role combines hands-on clinical nursing with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for an RVN looking to take the next step in their career or bring existing leadership experience to a supportive and progressive team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and develop the nursing team.
Deliver exceptional patient and client care.
Conduct nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures.
Support surgeries, diagnostics, inpatient care, and patient monitoring.
Assist with rota management, workflow, and clinical standards.
Mentor and support student and qualified nurses.
Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory requirements.
About You
RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
Previous small animal practice experience.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
Confident communicator with leadership or supervisory experience.
Organised, proactive, and committed to team development.
