Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Harlow, Essex
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week across 4 x 9.5 hour days
1 in 3 Saturdays and very occasional late inpatient checks.
Part-time candidates will be considered provided they are able to work in the afternoons/evenings.
Salary: £30,000 GBP
Team Structure: You will be joining a supportive and friendly team consisting of:
- 5 Vets
- 7 Nurses
- 3 Receptionists
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to all patients.
- Assist veterinarians during surgeries and medical procedures.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and x-rays.
- Educate and advise pet owners on animal health, nutrition, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist with reception duties as needed.
- Ensure a clean and hygienic environment within the practice.
