The Role:
Our client is looking for an RVN to join their small animal, RCVS-accredited hospital.
The hospital is happy to support a newly qualified RVN or an experienced RVN. The team has a variety of qualifications and interests. They will also support further development in areas of your interests.
Their hospital provides a comprehensive clinical service including offering referral-level orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, services in exotics and our own inpatient/emergency service.
This is a varied role; managing inpatients, monitoring anaesthesia, assisting in surgical and diagnostic procedures, consulting in nurse clinics, dispensing medications, triaging patients and advising clients.
They believe providing OOH to their own clients allows the best clinical care and job satisfaction. The role includes a share in the OOH rota (weekends, bank holidays and nights). These are working shifts and recovery time is provided. You are welcome to view an example rota.
They support schedule 3 procedures and a holistic approach to patient care that involves nursing expertise. Their nurses are actively involved in clinical governance and the direction of the practice.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours, which includes a shared rota of weekends, bank holidays, and nights.
