Our client in Gloucestershire has an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking variety and professional development, especially within a 12-month rotating role to join their team. As a Rotating RVN, you will work across several departments, including 1st opinion surgery, clinics, wards, and specialist areas like ophthalmology, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, medicine, and dermatology. This structure provides exposure to a wide range of veterinary nursing skills, making it ideal for someone eager to broaden their experience and enhance their clinical knowledge. While prior experience in referral settings is beneficial, it is not required, as full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for nurses looking to transition into referral work or expand their skills in specialist areas.
The practice emphasizes teamwork through regular meetings, debriefs, and biannual 1-2-1 sessions, ensuring open communication and collaboration across the team, helping to maintain a high level of clinical care and continuous improvement in the workplace.
This team is looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a desire to grow their nursing skills in a wide variety of clinical areas so whether you’re a relatively new RVN or a seasoned professional, this role offers ample room for learning, growth, and career progression within a well-equipped hospital setting.
This is a full-time FTC with shifts based on a 40-hour-a-week rota, working 5x 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break and 1:8 weekends with time off in lieu and minimal weekday on-call duties. However, our client can be flexible and can work with you to find the best rota and work-life balance for you so please do let us know your preferences.
This role offers a salary up to £30,849 DOE with a range of benefits including
- 6.6 weeks holiday
- Birthday as a paid day off
- Enhanced Family Friendly policies
- Wellbeing support
- Healthcare
- Career Development opportunities
- £550 CPD with 24 hours paid CPD leave
