Are you a Registered Nurse looking to transition away from clinical practice while still applying your professional expertise? A modern clinic close to Oldham is seeking a Reception Veterinary Nurse to bridge the gap between client services and clinical care, delivering an exceptional, seamless experience for pet owners.
Role & Schedule Details:
- Position: Non-Clinical RVN (Reception & Client Experience)
- Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, worked across 4 days (shifts between 07:45 and 19:00)
- Weekend Rota: 1 in 4 weekends (with Time Off in Lieu / TOIL)
- Compensation: Up to £29,725
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage Support: Utilise clinical skills to assess, prioritise, and direct incoming patients efficiently.
- Diary & Appointments: Optimise appointment scheduling across workstreams to maintain smooth workflow.
- Client & Phone Communications: Handle incoming chat queries, telephone enquiries, and face-to-face reception interactions.
- Pharmacy Management: Process repeat prescriptions, assist with medication dispensing, and maintain stock control.
- Administrative & Financial Care: Support patient journeys including insurance processing, follow-ups, debt management, and initial resolution of client concerns.
- Leadership Support: Provide line management and guidance to the growing client services team.
Candidate Requirements:
- RVN qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Confident communicator with strong organisational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
