A great opportunity to step into a Head Nurse role at a modern, stand-alone practice on the North London and Hertfordshire border. With no OOH, flexible day options and a friendly close-knit team, this is a leadership role that offers genuine work-life balance alongside real clinical and administrative responsibility. Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience preferred.
The practice
- Modern, stand-alone practice on the North London / South Hertfordshire border
- Digital full body and dental X-ray suites, full in-house laboratory and haematology
- Urinalysis, separate dog and cat waiting areas and wards, heated theatre tables and more
- Small, focused team of 2 vets, 2 RVNs, 1 VCA and a receptionist
- No out-of-hours commitment
The role
- Lead the nursing team and take ownership of clinical standards and day-to-day operations
- Take on additional administrative responsibilities alongside clinical duties
- Work 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days — your choice
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings only, included within your 40 hours
- No out-of-hours
